TIME SAVING CHICKEN PREP

Hands up if you've cooked that big kg of chicken in bulk with a few spices and herbs (those trusty ones you always use) only to get bored of that same chicken 2 meals in.  When your stuck for time sometimes making gourmet chicken breasts can be a bit of a pain - so you go with the easy option - season it all the same way and cook it all in one go... but eating the SAME flavoured chicken breast for EVERY meal, EVERY day can get pretty darn DULL right?

Save time cooking different flavour combos at once... and, get this, all it the same pan! Get some extra ZZZZZ's by pre-packing your favourite smoothie blends to refrigerate or freeze for when you need them.  So all you have to do in your sleepy haze is add your pre-made pack with some liquid and blitz. TA-DA!

SMOOTHIE MUFFIN BOOSTERS

OK, so this is some next level smoothie prepping! Blend up your favourite superfood mixes and pour into a muffin tray to freeze up to add nutrition packed boosters to any smoothies you make. Try this green booster

-  2 +1/2 cups coconut water
- 1/3 cup of chia seeds
- 1/3 cup of flaxseed
- 2/3 cup brown rice protein
- 3 cups spinach

For a quick morning wake up blast these coffee cups by Muffin Tin Mania are a must:

- 2 cups brewed coffee
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup figs (or dates)
- 1 cup greek yoghurt
- 2 bananas
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp cardamon

Yes, the freezer madness doesn't stop there! You can even use your freezer to keep turning fruits, veggies and herbs to add into cooking like curries or in more smoothies, or even to add some pop to plain water.  Use ice cube trays or freezer packs. Wash, cut, slice or spiralize your veggies and fruit ahead of time and store in an airtight container ready to add to any meal for extra goodness or quick salads.

OK, OK, so roasting veg isn't exactly quick but it is super easy! All you have to do is put all your cut up veg in one tray and leave in the oven while you get on with other things! If you're cutting calories you can even roast your veggies without oil by subbing with some balsamic, lemon juice or tamari then sprinkle with desired herbs to add extra flavour.
