Eat healthier in 2017

It's that time of year, getting fit and healthy makes an appearance on your New Years resolution list once again along with everybody else. New swank gym gear on, fresh fruit and raw nuts packed into your bag as your new go-to snack ready to attend that gym class you said you would go to months ago. Class number one out of 20 you have signed up for this week (20 classes in a week, is that even possible?) Difference is, we've got your back this year.


So this post may be a little late - can you believe it's the 11th of January already?!? But better late than never right? 

To kick things off we've made a list of our favourite cookbooks to get you inspired to whip up wonderful healthy creations in the kitchen and make clean eating fun. A little guide or packing list, if you will, for your 2017 new-you voyage.

+ The Good Life by Shirin Kouros and Yasmine Larizadeh

+ The Little Green Spoon by Indy Power
Over 100 recipes to cater for everyone from gluten-free, dairy-free, to vegan and paleo. These recipes have a whole food- hearty- country feel.

+ Lean in 15 by Joe Wicks
Do we even need to introduce this guy? He is everywhere and despite the controversy he does have a bunch of gnarly recipes and, better yet, they can be replicated in 15 mins tops.

With a few best seller cookbooks, now a cafe and a TV show these girls are most certainly worth checking out. Their recipes are based on natural ingredients free from gluten, grains, refined sugar and hydrogenated fats. This book is built around good gut health, whole foods and affordable ingredients.

+ Simplicious by Sarah Wilson
Sarah Wilson released her book "I Quit Sugar" in 2014 - ahead of the game right? This book is great introduction to healthy eating with tips on cleaning up your diet and introducing whole foods like good fats.

+ Awesome Ingredients... by Deliciously Ella
This record breaking best selling book had to be put on the list. Recipes for better health, glowing skin and boundless energy.
